In western society, interest in the topic of fascia is growing steadily. The many scientific findings reveal each time the importance of the deep layers of connective tissue for a healthy body. In ancient Asia, however, fasciae are nothing new. Tibetan monks, Indian yoga masters and Japanese shiatsu therapists have long known about the importance of the fascial system. They therefore developed great techniques to gently train and care for the fasciae.
Generally, fascia training consists of various forms of movement to give the fasciae special stimuli. But Gentle Fascia Yoga can do even more, because it is developed from sensory perception and involves the system of meridians, i.e. the energy pathways that largely run in fascia. Thus the fascia system is cared for holistically.

the Tibetan Heilyoga Kum Nye, the Indian Yin Yoga and the Japanese Meridian Stretching.
