In various Lakshmi Kajals, the term "cold" refers to the pleasantly cool camphor content in the recipe. Purified, natural camphor (not to be confused with the synthetic camphor that is so often warned against) is not only supposed to disinfect, but also prevent inflammation. Red veins can disappear more quickly due to the astringent effect, which is why the eyes appear whiter again. The tear fluid is also stimulated more, making the eyes shine.
Lakshmi Kajal is very economical to use. By placing the tip sideways and turning it slightly, it is evenly applied. You therefore do not need a sharpener.
