Sarva literally means 'everything', 'antah' means 'inside'; both Sanskrit words together mean 'everything is within us'. Sarva-Antah is a collective term used for mantra meditations based primarily on Tibetan mantras. Original Tibetan texts form the basis of the mantras, which are sung in a way that is familiar to our Western ears. In doing so, we come closer to our feelings and can thus more easily detach ourselves from our thoughts. The YIJAYA-DEVI and OM-AMA-RANI mantras on these two CDs were recorded live and without editing. The harmonies were also added without editing. This process preserves the natural, spontaneous energy flow of the recording. The energy is tuned and balanced in such a way that it does justice to the power of the mantra and its spiritual effect. If you chant the mantra for some time, it may carry you to a higher level of consciousness. Tibetan Buddhism is an important part of our lives. Mantras are sacred syllables or words around whose core spiritual energy is collected. As a creative force, they promote harmony in body and mind. Man comes from mana (mind), tra from traya (liberation). According to the Bhagavad Gita, these are mental sound vibrations intended to liberate the living by purifying the mind of all impurities and material orientation. The mantra is an aid to meditation. Sung or spoken, it brings concentration and raises consciousness.
