Incense set annual festivals

We know of eight major festivals from the Celts: 4 sun festivals and 4 moon festivals.

The solar festivals were the equinoxes and the shortest day or the longest day. The lunar festivals always fall in the middle of the solar festivals. Their festivals were intense and full of joie de vivre, but also characterized by deep respect for the changing conditions of nature.

It nourishes our soul and strengthens our connection to nature and the cosmos when we are able to tune into these natural processes again. Honoring with respect and consideration what supports and surrounds us every day. In today's world with electric light and central heating, with the hectic pace of our everyday lives, there is a great danger that we no longer feel the rhythm of nature, the power of the sun and the moon, and the magic of a change in the sun or moon. Everything runs smoothly, without highs and lows, without the wonderful magic that surrounds us.
